You don’t need any specialized equipment to be able to follow this sky scene. As reported in the Facebook file “With your head in the stars,” the luminous lines can be seen with the naked eye, of course, unless the sky is obscured by a thick layer of clouds. It is enough to be dark.
52 Starlink satellites launched into orbit Saturday night by a Falcon 9 rocket will also be visible over Poland. They will form a compact ensemble and will look like a glowing line in the sky.
On Sunday night, the illuminated Starlinek will appear in the skies over Poland three times, with only half of the last time.
Starlink in the Polish sky. Set schedule
As stated in the “Head in the stars” profile, the exact dates of all three Starlink’s flights over Poland are known. here they are:
1. 21:53:34 Do 22:06:44
During the first flight, Starlinki will emerge from the western horizon at 21:53:54. We’ll need a few minutes to get high enough to be able to see them. At about 21:57, we should be able to spot them in the constellation Cancer, only to the left and toward the Moon’s course. Exactly at 10:00 pm, a bright and luminous streak will pass right next to the Big Dipper to continue its journey towards the eastern part of the horizon, where it will disappear around 10:06:44
2. 23:33:52 do 23:47:04
A second flight will begin over the western horizon, similar to the previous one. We’ll be able to spot them from around 23:38. The satellites will fly towards the peak – so they’ll pass right over our heads. At 23:40 they will fly under the tail of Ursa Major, and continue their journey towards the eastern part of the sky, where they will enter the Earth’s shadow at 23:47:04 at an altitude of about 16 degrees.
3. 01:14:02 – 01:19:44
The last lane will be visible only through half the sky. It will start at the western horizon and the satellites will move about 30 degrees over the southern horizon.

Starlink. What is that?
As the profile “Head in the stars” explained, Starlink are small communications satellites from which the huge constellation of SpaceX is formed in orbit. Its purpose is to provide high-speed internet to anywhere on earth. The Poles managed to apply for this service for several months. According to information from SpaceX, it should be ready for use in our country in the second half of this year.
The Starlink satellites ship in beams of 60, and for the first few weeks of being in orbit they move relatively close together. Then they create what is called the Sky Effect. Space train. However, it will disappear from view after a few weeks.
