The Crysis Remastered Trilogy vs. Console Origins

Crytek studio has published material comparing the updated versions of the Crysis trilogy games with the console shooter origins.

The recordings show footage from Remasters released on Xbox Series X, along with similar scenes that were recorded in the original singles productions on Xbox 360.

The video indicates that the new versions will offer much nicer graphics. Among other things, the video features improved lighting and improved weather effects with on-camera water droplets and reflections.

The differences between the two versions are significant because the console assets of the Crysis trio are visually reduced compared to their PC counterparts. Due to hardware limitations, a number of functions have been lost in PS3 and Xbox 360.

The Crysis Remastered Trilogy bundle will be released this fall for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Switch. Let us remind you that for nearly a year now, the renewed version of the first part of the series has been available as a separate production.
