Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos has one of the most enviable real estate portfolios. Recently, for example, it was reported Bought a $78 million mansion in Hawaii.
Now that the year is over, it’s a good idea to take a tour of all the expensive properties that an Amazon owner owns.
According to the specialized media Bezos raises $578 million in property alone in the United States.
Some of the cities that the billionaire bought are his original home Washington, New York, California, Texas, and Hawaii.
His first and main house
Jeff Bezos founded Amazon in 1994 and years later bought what is now one of his prime, and thus one of, his most luxurious homes.
This mansion is built on an area of 5.3 acres and consists of two homes of 20,600 square feet and 8,300 square feet, respectively.
He bought the place in 1998 and in 2010 invested $28 million to remodel it. At this time, he bought the second property that makes the mansion contain two houses with the aforementioned annex.
The Grand Mansion is located in the Medina neighborhood of Seattle, where billionaire Bill Gates also owns property.
In 1999, Bezos purchased three units of Tommy Mottola in the Century Building in Lincoln Square, Manhattan. The billionaire’s parents used to occupy these real estate.
Recently, in 2012, he bought another property very close to the area that cost him $5.3 million.
Corn farm in Texas
In 2004, Bezos decided it was time to search and find something in Texas, and paid an unknown sum for a 30,000-acre corn farm.
This property is currently the base of operations for Blue Origin, the airline that Bezos founded in 2000.
