Tokyo 2020. The perfect wedding gift. Elena Svitolina with a bronze medal after a murderous fight

The Ukrainian tennis star presented a perfect wedding gift. Elena Svitolina was crushed in the first set, but was reborn at the Tokyo Olympics and won the bronze medal.

On Saturday, Elena Svitolina and Jelena Rybagina engaged in a deadly battle for third place in the XXXII Olympiad Tokyo 2020 Games (event postponed to 2021 due to the Govt-19 epidemic). The bronze medal was won by the Ukrainians who won 1: 6, 7: 6 (5), 6: 4.

In the first set, Rybakina came out 2: 1 after defending two break points. After that, things happened very quickly. Svitoline broke twice and had nothing to say. The second volume did not start successfully for her. She was losing 1: 3, but got up from her knees and won it at the tiebreak.

The third set declared Svitolina’s defeat, but she showed her brave nature again. She was losing 0: 3 and may even be 0: 4, but she chased down two break points in the fourth game. In the end, the Ukrainian won five games in a row from 1: 4. At last there was an extraordinary play. Rybakina defended six match balls, most of which had fantastic home plays. Svitolina used her seventh brilliant front hand.
