UFC 264: Gilbert Burns defeats Stephen Thompson by consensus

Burns gave a hint of a failed attempt. Thompson looked great on stand-up, but finally allowed himself to be brought to the ground half a minute before the end of the second edition.

The stand-up fight was ordered by Stephen. The American was more and more active, he was able to distract his opponent with a kick, but Burns responded and there was an open exchange. After some success on both sides, Burns went into the clinic. In the middle of the round, Brazil knocked out its opponent and took a side position. Turinho was in control of the ground, constantly giving Thompson a short blow to the head and torso. After three rounds, the judges unanimously declared Gilbert Burns the winner.
