Ukasz Mejza is out of government, but he does not get severance pay

For many, finishing a job in government is an opportunity to earn dozens of thousands of severance pay. The amount of severance pay and the rules for awarding them are governed by the law relating to the pay of persons holding state executive positions, and particularly Art. 5 See. 1, where we read it: “Persons removed from executive positions Government and individuals who have ceased to perform their duties in these positions due to the expiration of their term of office, to retain (…) The right to the present right Salary “for a specified period.

Individuals who have held the ceremony for a maximum of three months will be paid dismissal equivalent to one month’s salary. Those who work for 3 months to one year will be paid two months salary. For officials and politicians who have been in office for more than a year, the severance pay is three times their salary.
