District heating failure. Strains without heat and hot water during the holidays

The main failure of heating on Poznańska Street took place on Friday evening. According to Fortum on its website, residents of the following streets will lose their heat supply: Czarnieckiego, Poznańska, Kruszwicka, Lubińska and Legnicka. Interruption in heat distribution affects about 40 buildings.

As the staff removes the failure in ul. Poznańska, a pipe with a broken 900 mm cross section is one of the largest main lines in Wroclaw. It dates back to the 1960s, and still has issues with it. The pipe is old and, as they say, “drinks water” – writes “Gazeta Wrocławska”.

“At the same time, there may be temporary limitations in the heat supply, with the possibility of temporary losses in the plantations of Krabiskin, Kajovis, Borek, Povstankov Slaskich, Hobby” – it was written.

The company has announced that the restrictions will end on December 26.

The first day of Christmas in Wroclaw will be cloudy and cold. The temperature will reach -1 degrees Celsius during the day and -4 degrees Celsius at night. On December 25, there should be no rain or snow. The second day of Christmas promises to be better. Daytime thermometers range from -1 degrees Celsius during the day to -3 degrees Celsius at night.
