Ustrzyki Dolne will receive PLN 20 million for the purchase of electric buses with infrastructure from the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. Buses will run throughout the city but also around neighboring towns.
Ustrzyki Dolne received 20 million PLN to finance the purchase of electric buses.
Two buses will have 22 seats and eight buses will have about 78 seats. There will also be three charging stations with a power of up to 150 kW, each with two charging points.
Passenger information devices will also be purchased: the system controller, external panels, verification tools that enable ticket purchase and software.
Buses will run around Ustrzyki Dolne and connect village councils to the city.
There will be one line in town with a pair of buses.
After implementing this project, we will have the first all-electric public transport in Poland consisting of new buses. In addition, every resident with a Ustrzycka residence card will be able to use transport practically free of charge. In addition to connecting our villages with Ustrzyki Dolne, communications will be introduced in the city of Ustrzyki Dolne – Mayor of Ustrzyki Dolne, Bartosz Romowicz wrote on Facebook.
