Heavy fire at Oslo Airport

Several units of the Norwegian Rescue Service were called to Oslo’s Gardermoen Airport on Wednesday after reports of a major fire in the Norwegian state stockpile. Dagbladet.

No one should be injured by the fire and the smoke should not cause any problems to air traffic.

At 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, the fire brigade announced that a subsequent firefighting operation was underway at the site.

They will continue to do the firefighting work for the rest of the afternoon to ensure that the fire does not risk igniting again.
