Cincinnati WTA Championships: Świątek lost to Jaber in the second round

The tournament in Cincinnati was the first Christmas since the Tokyo Olympics. A Polish woman had a “goodbye” in the first round, Since the beginning of the meeting, she has not been able to get the right rhythm. Already in the first match, she was on the verge of defeat at home, but defended three break points for the break.

But the 20-year-old from Raszyn, was broken at the next opportunity. On the other hand, Jaber performed very well, and apart from the problems of the eighth match, she dominated the events on the field. Tunisia won the first set 6:3.

In the second match, the match was similar. Swiatek couldn’t find a way to serve her competition well, and again she made mistakes in this element. Bulka was broken in the fourth game.

Swiatek did not give up until the end. In the last match, she got a break point and saved two matches, but eventually lost again 3:6 and was eliminated from the tournament.

It was the third meeting of these tennis players and the second victory for Jaber. This year Tunisia was also better in the fourth round of Wimbledon.
