Battle in Paris. Pole with his first victory in the Grand Slam

Huge emotion in the first round of the 2022 Roland Garros men’s doubles tournament. Jan Zielinski and Hugo Ness defeated Balkan pair Tomislav Brykic and Nikola Kacic after a three-set match and advanced to the second stage.

In January, Jan Zielinski made his debut in the Grand Slam event, but with Kazach Alexander Bublik, he was defeated in the first round of the 2022 Australian Open. Zieliński claimed his first Grand Slam win on Tuesday. Together with Nice, the Bosnian-Serbian duo defeated Tomislav Berkic and Nikola Kacic 6:4, 6:7 (3), 7:6 (7).

There were no breaks in the second installment, although the Poles and the Monacos might regret their chances. In the tenth game they played two matches when Berkic passed but the two opponents saved themselves. After switching pages, the story repeated itself on Cacic’s site. Bosniaks and Serbs defended four more balls. At that time, he either played brilliantly on the Berkic net, or Zelensky missed the return. The unused positions took heavy revenge in breaking the tie. The Bosnians and Serbs visibly rebounded and quickly won 6-1. They finished the appointment on the third occasion.

Emotions peaked in the third part of the meeting. The deciding match was very close, and neither pair were able to break through. Zieliński’s partner had a problem with his left leg, but he gritted his teeth and continued the match. With a tie after 12 games, the super tiebreak was crucial. In it, the Poles and the Monacos came back from 1-4 and played a great finish. The main actions were taken with the score after 7. Zieliński and Nys developed two matches. At first, the tennis player from the Cote d’Azur sent the winning score and finished the match.
