The owner of Biedronka stores will conduct an educational and testing campaign for consumers for whom there are shopping vouchers with a total value of PLN 7.5 million, which can be obtained in the amount of PLN 500,000. In the decision issued at the beginning of 2021 UOKiK President Tomasz Chróstny stated that the owner of Biedronka stores – Jeronimo Martins Polska – published promotion regulations with delay and, in the absence of response to complaints about them within the 30-day legal period, did not recognize consumer claims. There were situations in which the entrepreneur reported in advertisements and promotional materials that the details of the campaign could be found by visiting his website, while the regulations did not exist or appeared with delay – even on the last day of the campaign.
