King’s drone show consisted of 500 preprogrammed drones that lit up the evening sky over New York and the show received both rice and praise, according to CBS News. Some thought it was a great show while others didn’t think such commercials should exist. Some bird experts have also pointed out that artificial light from drones could disturb birds in the area, especially birds that were in the middle of their migration to southern latitudes.
Drones are normally banned across New York but King was given permission to conduct a drone demonstration yesterday by the Federal Aviation Administration.
