Hamburger SV has taken another step into the second-class boarding race. After good luck 1:1 (0:0) at Fortuna Dusseldorf on Saturday, the difference in the climbing standings was six points.
The fact that the score was not seven points was again thanks to top scorer Robert Glatzel. The striker hit the final score with a header at the last second. The hamburger really didn’t deserve the point. Head coach Tim Walter’s side would probably have had the worst performance of the season and would have easily lost 0:3 or 0:4 if Fortuna had not used the massive usury of opportunity.

HSV can’t think of anything – especially not having a plan B
When classifying the result, we should not forget that in the Hamburg team, which on paper was practically the best lineup, some players reported only a few days before the duel. On the other hand, the pandemic recently hit Fortuna hard. And unlike HSV, they showed none of that at all. The hosts were supposed to be up front after only 15 minutes. But after Edgar Prieb’s free kick hit the post, Jordi de Wiggs was able to get past the ball as it rolled onto the goal line.
