Conference League: Milik’s two goals, victory in Marseille

Arcadius Milik twice entered the sniper list at the Olympic Marseille-Karabakh Act, which was part of the Conference League. The Polish striker team won 3: 1.

The hosts had a significant advantage from the start of Thursday’s game, but following this match the fans had to wait for the goal until the end of the first half. Milik opened the scoring in the 41st minute. When it was over, in the first half, the Polish striker re-entered the sniper list, three minutes later using a catch by Babe Quay.

After the break, the guests tried to change the unfavorable outcome and were able to reach their goal in the 85th minute. Gaddy then scored 1: 2. The Brazilian, however, did not decide the outcome of the meeting. In extra time in Marseille, Dmitry Biot returned to the lead with two goals.

Milik was on the pitch for 68 minutes and was replaced by Boyd.

According to Millik, those goals in European competitions this season were five and six, respectively. The previous four wins were recorded in the Europa League squad.

The rematch, which will determine which team will advance to the 1/8 final, will take place next week in Azerbaijan.
