It looks like Electronic Arts will reveal FIFA 23, Need for Speed Unbound, and Skate 4 next July. This was reported by mostly knowledgeable Tom Henderson.
Modernization: Henderson added possible release dates to the article on Exputer, which he claims to have learned from unspecified sources. They are:
- Need for Speed - 4. November 2022
- FIFA 23 – 30 September 2022
- Skate 4 – TBA (maybe it means 2023)
June 27, 2022 message: After the Summer Games Festival brought some announcements for the current year and beyond, it looks like Electronic Arts is poised to put in more shows in July.
According to a report, the publisher plans to unveil a number of new titles over the next month. Come on speak Sea Tom Henderson Skate 4, a new “Need For Speed” and another “FIFA”.
Realistic graphics with cartoon elements
Both racing and soccer are scheduled to be presented in the second half of July. According to Henderson, the new Need for Speed will do a number of things differently compared to the classic version of the series. This applies, among other things, to the character design, which is intended to remind us of the TV series “The Boondocks”.
The big advantage of the game is “Encounters” where players can meet and race on the map. The methods are described as “unique”.
One source noted that as players race, a large train will run across the map. Details are not available yet.
While nothing has been confirmed to that effect, it is said that the racing game could be titled Need For Speed: Unbound. However, Henderson wasn’t sure if it was just a code name.
What is known about FIFA 23?
EA Sports – A Brand of Electronic Arts Announced a few weeks ago, that FIFA and EA will end their partnership next year, so that the publisher’s football game 2022 will be named “FIFA” for the last time. From 2023, fans will have to get used to the name “EA Sports FC”.
Electronic Arts confirmed in its announcement that thanks to the ongoing contracts, fans will have “the same great experiences, modes, tournaments, tournaments, clubs and athletes” that they had during the FIFA partnership.
There is speculation that Electronic Arts will include women’s leagues in FIFA 23 as the publisher wants to make the game a “unified title”. According to Henderson, men’s and women’s world championships will be included. Cross-play will make the unified experience a reality.

There are no further details about “Skate 4”. But this title is also slated for release in July, which raises the question of why the publisher is coming out this year I gave up on EA Play.
