Enjoy a unique experience – a partial solar eclipse

June 10, 2021

OPiOA invites, among other things to gardens at the observatory

On June 10, one of the most interesting and expected astronomical phenomena of 2021 awaits us. Of course, we are talking about a partial solar eclipse that we will be able to observe at a convenient time from the territory of our country. The show will start around 11:45 AM and end after 1:55 PM (depending on location).

What is a solar eclipse? A solar eclipse occurs when the moon is between the sun and the earth, blocking all or part of the sun’s light reaching the earth. The June 10 eclipse will be partially visible in most of Europe and Asia and as an annular from Canada, Greenland and Russia.

A solar eclipse is a rare phenomenon in nature and an exciting event worth sharing with the whole family, so we encourage you to participate in the events organized on that day by the Olsztyn Planetarium and Observatory.
