Fast PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs – Know Prices

A good and inexpensive drive for a computer or laptop? Patriot has an interesting proposition here – the P400 models should be of interest to enthusiasts and gamers, as well as creators and content professionals.

The Patriot P400 engines are the successors to the Patriot P300 models that debuted early last year. What can you expect?

P400 models use the PCI-Express 4.0 x4 interface, thanks to which they offer much better performance than their predecessors – the maximum number of serial transfers is 5000/4800 MB / s, the number of random ones is 620,000 / 550,000. IOPS.

The manufacturer boasts of using a modern console and a high-quality NAND chip, but it did not reveal any details here. The holders are equipped with a graphene heat sink (translated into regular language – with a graphite coating), which effectively dissipates heat during intensive use of the mount.

Thanks to its compact size, the P400 models will prove themselves not only in desktop computers, but also in laptops, where disk space is very limited.

The Patriot P400 models will be available in two capacitive versions: 512 GB (PLN 429) and 1 TB (PLN 699). The manufacturer provides a 3-year warranty on the media with a fairly high TBW limit.

I must admit that the hardware looks quite promising – these drives can be a good alternative to PCIe 3.0 models (especially since PCIe 4.0 can be found on almost all new Intel and AMD platforms).
