Google Play Store will have a new section so you don’t miss out on offers

Google is considering a small update to the Play Store on Android.

Unlike the web version, which is about to release a new design, the Play Store app on Android will have a small change that makes it easier to take advantage of all the offers that interest us.

New offers section of the Google Play Store

We have already seen that Google is working on a new design for the Play Store on the web, following an approach similar to that found in Android. But this is clearly not the only change the Google team is preparing for the Play Store.

As mentioned 9to5GoogleGoogle Play Store could have a new section of offers. If you take a look now, you will see that the Play Store has a section called Offers & Notifications where all the offers related to your account appear.

That is, all offers related to your apps or games, so you will find special discounts and free items or you can redeem a promotional code. However, the new offers section has a different dynamic.

The idea is that this section shows you deals about games and apps that you might like. So it’s not just about our previous purchases. As can be seen in screenshots shared by 9to5Google, offers will be shown in cards as a circle with app information, offer type, and expiration date.

At the moment, this new dynamic is being tested, so few users have this new section in the Google Play Store. On the other hand, it should be borne in mind that this dynamic can change before its official launch, or even remain only in the testing phase. So we will have to wait to see if we receive this update in one of the future versions of the Google Play Store.
