The first set was very close, but both had a chance. In the fourth game, Johnson scored two break points. Harrocks defeated Johnson a second time in the professional courts. Prior to this, he was better than him on the grass courts in Eastbourne (2019). Thanks to Tuesday’s win, the Pole advanced to the fourth round of the Indian Wells tournament and has the opportunity to repeat the results from 2019 and 2021. He will play with Russian Andrei Rublev on Wednesday for a place in the quarterfinals.
