Preston (AFP) – Liverpool reached the League Cup quarter-finals without any problems.
Japan’s national footballer Takumi Minamino (62nd) and Belgium’s Divock Origi (84th) scored the 2-0 win (0-0) in the second round at Preston North Stadium.
Coach Jürgen Klopp had saved several regular players in the match against 19 of the tournament. Top scorer Mohamed Salah, for example, was not even part of the team.
