West Ham United – Manchester City – League Cup match result and report

Since 2018, Manchester City players have won the English Premier League Cup. However, they will not extend this chain. On Wednesday they lost to West Ham United. There was no Łukasz Fabiański in the Młoty team.

The match was 0-0 in the original time and the players started playing the eleven immediately. The Londoners kicked off Mark Noble’s punch, while the Citizens’ team was mistaken for their first shooter, Phil Foden. Later, players from both teams netted and West Ham won 5-3 on penalties.

Legia rivals have been promoted after the penalty shootout

The finalists from the last edition managed to advance – Tottenham Hotspur beat Burnley 1-0 away after Lucas Moura’s goal.

The quarter-final stage also includes Europa League rival Legia Warszawa – Leicester City. The Foxes beat Brighton on penalties at home. After 90 minutes the score was 2:2, and Leicester’s 11 series won 4-2. Jacob Moder was missing from the defeated team.

The remaining eight teams in the competition are complemented by London’s Arsenal, Chelsea, Brentford, Liverpool and Sunderland in the third tier.

Pairs are due to be withdrawn on October 30th.
