The Italians started the League of Nations 1-1 with Germany in a draw. Despite being very weak in the first half, Italy were unable to score any goals. They “returned to the game” in the second half and Lorenzo Pellegrini scored 1-0. Three minutes later Joshua Kimmich equalized and the Italians were unable to enjoy the goal for long.

Hungary, on the other hand, had a thrilling victory over England in the first game of the League of Nations. Already in the first half the Hungarian representatives dominated but could not score. The second half was still equal, but the Hungarians scored in the 66th minute through Dominic Sboboslay from the penalty spot.
Italy and Hungary last played in 2007. It was a friendly match in which the Hungarians played better and won the match 3: 1. Will Italy get its first win in this League of Nations? Or will the players of the Hungarian national team be surprised once again?
