Official: Piotr Domagała leaves CANAL +

Piotr Domagała is leaving CANAL +, which he reported on social media.

Thus ends the journalist’s seven-year adventure with this station. Domagała commented on matches in the British Premier League, the Spanish League and Poland’s PKO BP Ekstraklasa. The journalist did not mention the reasons for this decision.

“March 2014, when the absolutely wonderful adventure began and ended today. Over 7 years of working at CANAL+, a place I will forever be proud of my home. When I left the corporate premises for the last time today, I had great moments before my eyes – commented on goals or conducted Programs. However, I deeply remember my colleagues and friends with whom I share more than one passion. It is a great honor to work with you.Thank you,I made my childhood dream come true, thanks to you I worked in my beloved matches in the Premier League and LaLiga.

Daria, Filip, Krzysek, and Zelek for advice on studio management. Rafał Wolski, Rosol, Rudi, Smok, Grandpa, Shadow, Cwiąki, for all golden thoughts and notes on commentary work. Thanks with all my heart and see you! ”- Domagała wrote in a special statement posted on Twitter.

Let’s note that Domagała is another “loss” of the station. Since the appointment of Michal Kolodzegic as director of the Sports Editorial Bureau, Tomasz Smokovsky, Rafai Volsky, Kazimierz Fjerzin and Polina Czarnotta-Pojarska left him. CANAL+ has also lost broadcast rights to the British Premier League matches.
