Rock icon Rod Stewart has entertained people all over the world with his music for many years. He’s also lived in his fancy yellow house in Beverly Park for many years, 30 to be exact. But now he and his wife, Penny Lancaster, are planning to move, and have therefore put their large mansion up for sale.
Stewart’s home was built to his wishes in the early 1990s. The house is named after his favorite team and is called Celtic House, which can be seen at the gates to the estate.
It wasn’t a small residence he built, the main building 2,650 square meters – then a guest house with three floors and more than 400 square meters added.
Whoever buys his house gets, among other things, nine bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, a library, a home cinema, a large kitchen and two gyms. In addition, there is also an office, recording room, wine cellar and, of course, a tea room – he is English after all.
From the great hall one takes one of the stairs to the upper floor where, among other things, is the bedroom suite of the Stewart/Lancaster couple. It has two identical bathrooms, but one has a light and pink interior, while the other is decorated in dark wood and green marble.
The exterior has a pool, hot tub, tennis court, waterfall, and outdoor kitchen
The couple enjoy huge wardrobes with room for shoes, clothes, jewelry and accessories. Suite balconies overlook the garden and pool. Guest rooms also have large bathrooms, safes, and terraces.
Outside there is a garden with a pool and hot tub, several patios, a tennis/soccer court, waterfalls and fountains.
One of the patios is built in and is suitable for nice dinners given that there is an outside kitchen with everything needed. Such as grills, wine cooler, fridge and fireplace.
If you want to live like a rock icon, it will cost you around SEK 764 million.
