Samsung One UI overlay is the basic software for smartphones of this manufacturer, which is available for almost every modern device of the Korean concern. However, the exception to the rule was version 3.1.1, which was specifically designed for devices with foldable screens – for example the Galaxy Z Fold3 or Z Flip3.
Now, however, some of the functions available only for this segment of devices are also carried over to classic smartphones with the new version of the One UI 3.1 overlay.
The flagships of the family will be the first of the new products to date dedicated to foldable devices Galaxy S21, and soon the best devices will join them. Most importantly, we also have a package with security patches, dated August 1st.
What’s in the new One UI Overlay update? We can use, among others, a new weather app, a faster system animation, an improved Bluetooth widget, or a faster snapshot app. It is worth noting that the update is relatively large – its size is 1.1 GB.
