Developers Bella Tolina Russo surprised the entire volleyball world on Tuesday. Polish runner-up World Champion – VakifBank beat Istanbul after tie-break, causing the biggest surprise in this edition of the Champions League.

The girls of Rzeszów, except for the Premier Edition, played as a backwards, fighting equally with the Turkish giants. The big battle finally ended with a happy ending for the only female Polish representative in the play-off stage.

“We know we’re playing a setback, but we did not care. We do not want anyone to underestimate us.
