WWE has split from NXT talent including Timothy Thatcher and Danny Burch.

House cleaning continues in WWE NXT, and WWE has parted ways with many unused talents.
We learned Wednesday night that William Regal and Brian James (Road Dogg) have been sacked as key figures behind the scenes of WWE NXT, the historic NXT. According to Brian Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer, about 15 people, employees and talent have been fired.
Among the talents mentioned by Fightful, Timothy Thatcher, who is currently out of action since an injury this summer, Hideki Suzuki of Diamond Maine, Danny Burch (Martin Stone), the former partner of Oni Lorcan (Biff Boucek) who was fired last year, or Allison. Risk, after signing a few months ago.

Scott Armstrong, the former arbitrator who became a producer after the COVID-19 crisis, was also fired in 2020.
WWE has spoken out in the wake of these recent expulsions and departures, saying it aligns with the new direction the brand has taken to develop Stamford and launch NXT 2.0.
