For Kiss, it should be the ‘End of the Road’ tour, with the last concert in July at Hallenstadion in Zurich. But even then you’ll still hear a lot about synthetic rockers.
Rock musician Gene Simmons, 72, doesn’t think he’s going to end his group Kiss (“Made to love you”) langweilig wird.
Masked rockers will be on their farewell tour at least until October, and the guitarist already has extensive plans for the time after that. “There are a lot of things, there are other areas of work,” Simmons told dpa. “You don’t have enough time.”
The musician, nicknamed “The Demon”, is involved with his colleague Kiss Paul Stanley in the chain of Rock & Brews restaurants and says that he plans to open several casinos in the USA. He also deals a lot with cryptocurrencies. Furthermore, a Netflix movie about Kiss is in the works, Simmons said. Directed by Joachim Rønning (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales).
Gifted with riches of life
“Obviously, there’s nothing quite like being a part of Kiss,” Gene Simmons admitted as the band came to a close. “But you should know when to get up from the table when you eat a lot. How much can you eat in a lifetime? We have a lot.”
