Carnival Cruises return to Port Galveston in July; Only vaccinated passengers will be able to board the plane

Texas – cruise line Carnival announced that in July it will start taking flights from GalvestonHowever, people wishing to board the plane will have to show proof of vaccination.

According to a statement, Carnival to resume operations from Port Galveston on July 3 With Carnival Vista and on July 15th with Carnival Breeze.

In the statement, the line informed that only vaccinated people can take trips and that they must provide proof of vaccination 14 days before the trip.

“CDC’s current requirements for cruises complicate our ability to provide our customers with the experience they deserve, especially as families travel with minors,” said Kristin Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.

“Our alternative is to operate our ships from the United States during the month of July with the passengers vaccinated,” he added.

Another Carnival ship – the Horizon – will also return to service in the Port of Miami, Florida.
