Mexico City. – The two CODAs: Signs of the Heart (adapted script) and Don’t Look Up (original script) took a major boost to their careers toward the Oscars, by winning major awards Sunday at the 74th Annual Writers Guild Awards. awards.
The wins for Apple TV+ and Netflix, respectively, come exactly one week before the 94th Academy Awards, which will take place on March 27.

In the TV department, the HBO Max platform has held steady. HBO’s Succession series has picked up quite a few awards, taking home both Drama Series and Episodic Drama Awards; Meanwhile, Hacks, also from HBO Max, continued his streak of success with wins in sitcoms and new series.
