Abu Dhabi, June 6 / WAM / Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, plans to launch seasonal flights to the most famous Greek islands, Mykonos and Santorini, and to the famous Spanish city of Malaga located in southern Spain.

Mykonos will operate between July 8 and September 11, 2021 and Santorini between July 9 and September 12, 2021. Both destinations will benefit from the Airbus A320 direct service every two weeks.

With a safe travel corridor between the UAE and Greece, fully vaccinated people now have more opportunities to travel without being quarantined. Travelers can sample Mediterranean cuisine in Mykonos or admire the unique architecture of Santorini. Just over four hours from Abu Dhabi, Etihad’s new flights to the Greek islands complement the airline’s existing services to Athens.

As Spain prepares to reopen vaccinations for international travelers from June 7, 2021, Etihad will launch new flights to Malaga twice a week between July 9 and September 15, 2021.
