Fręch advanced without a fight to the decisive third round of qualifiers for the French Open Grand Prix. Polish-Ukrainian tennis player Lysia Korenko lost the match.
Friday defeated her opponent Frch – Irina Maria Bara in the previous round, Manila Menela of Luxembourg, 2: 1 (3: 6, 6: 3, 6: 2). The Romanian is ranked 122 in the WTA ranking, while the Polish woman is the 153rd rocket in the world. So it looks like a fair game.

Fręch was the only player of five Polish tennis players to reach the second round. Earlier, Katarzina Kawa, Maja Choalinska, Urszula Radwieska and Kasper Doc were all eliminated.
