Some time ago, there was information about a completely new project of the concern founded by Mark Zuckerberg in 2004. It is about creating a “metaverse”, a fictional world consisting of three-dimensional space. The digital platform must rely on technologies such as virtual reality and augmented reality. To launch the project, you need 50 million US dollars, invested over 10-15 years in creating a virtual website.
New jobs for EU citizens
The concept could bring in as many as 10,000 jobs in five years. Jobs for citizens of EU member states, specialists in the virtual world. Metaverse is a collaborative project of technology companies, developers, creators and decision makers.
During the presentation of the project, Mark Zuckerberg spoke against the background of virtual reality, which, in his opinion, may replace the mobile Internet in the future. Iceland decided to take advantage of this.
Iceland mocks Zuckerberg
Iceland promoter, Inspired by Iceland, created a 2.5-minute video featuring a Facebook founder-like intro with Chief Visual Officer Zack Mossbergsson. The man has a similar hairstyle to Zuckerberg, wears similar clothes and makes similar movements.
The place is funny and tells us how you can connect our world “without being too weird”. Mossbergsson shows you how to see the beauty of the natural world with your own eyes, touch real wet water, or meet real people.
