It is one hundred percent known that as of January 1, 2022, the minimum wage cannot be less than 3,000 PLN in total. Although there is no agreement in this matter in the Social Dialogue Council forum, i.e. between the government, employers and employees, in accordance with applicable law, the final decision is up to the government – we will know it in legal form to work in two weeks – but the government cannot reduce the amount submitted for consultation Total 3000 PLN. How much is on hand, and how much will the actual increase be? How much will additional income earners earn if the tax-exempt amount in 2022 is PLN 30,000, according to the consulted amendment to the tax laws?
It is already known that starting from the new year the minimum wage for work will rise by at least PLN 200 in total – up to PLN 3,000. At least – because Until mid-September, when a government order must be issued in an amount that is officially binding by law, a higher increase is still possible. And that this is not just a theoretical possibility, recent years have proven, when the government decided at the last minute to increase the minimum wage in increases over those previously proposed.
It may be the same this year as the amount proposed by the government during the consultations was not accepted neither by the trade unions representing employees nor by representatives of employers. And then, by law, the final decision rests with the government. However, he cannot cut the amount of 3000 PLN anymore.
