Next on the podium in Engelberg for DSV-Adler Karl Geiger

Karl Geiger once again confirms his best form. At the dress rehearsal for the Four Hills Championship, the DSV vulture jumps on the podium.

Karl Geiger is still in top form and finished second at the Ski Jump World Championships in Switzerland. The 28-year-old only had to admit defeat to victorious Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi on Sunday. The third was the Norwegian Marius Lindvik.

Geiger travels to the Four Hills Championship as the Bearer of Hope

Geiger jumped 135 meters and 131.5 meters in rehearsal for the Seventy Four Hills Championships in Engelberg. So he won on Saturday. Jaeger is by far the biggest hope for teams led by national coach Stefan Horngacher for a first German win on the Tour since Sven Hahnwald 20 years ago.

But for Marcus Eisenbechler, things went very poorly. The 30-year-old jumped only 113 meters and was knocked out in the first round. Eisenbechler came in 35th. On Saturday he was 27th.

The second best German was Pius Bachke in ninth place. Konstantin Schmid (11th), Andreas Wellinger (18th) and Stefan Leahy (25th) also earned World Cup points.
