No More Heroes 1 & 2 launches on PC this week

No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle will officially launch on PC via Steam on June 9, 2021.

Revealed on XSEED Games Twitter, these two games will hit Steam with a 10% launch discount and will be the first time No More Heroes 1 & 2 will be available on a platform other than Wii, Switch, and Amazon Luna.

The first two No More Heroes to hit PC will happen just two months before No More Heroes 3 launches on Nintendo Switch on August 27.

In our review of No More Heroes, we said, “Ultimately, No More Heroes is a bag full of goodies with ups and downs, and the end result will be different based on your expectations. Stylistic designs we’ve seen before. Years ago (maybe Killer 7, in reality), where the presentation consists of pixel art, retro sound production, and some of the best characters out there.”

In our No More Heroes 2 review, we said that “Waking Up Struggle beats the original with a more streamlined experience, more charm and style throughout, and some really cool boss fights. And yes, you continue to experience some battles from Weak bosses, horrible camera situations, or Slow frame rates, but with just as much pure fun as in the game, you forgive the downsides almost immediately.”
