To create the long-tailed huaira, it took two years for it to be homogenized. However, the work had the intended effect, and so the Pagani Huayra Codalunga was created. It’s a sentimental song for projects from the ’60s.

As you can see, requests and dreams were answered at the same time. The Codalunga is 360mm longer than the standard coupe. In addition, it is powered by a V12 engine that produces 851 hp and generates 1,100 Nm of torque.

This engine comes with a lengthened titanium exhaust system that weighs only 4.4 kg. It has a ceramic coating in honor of the racing cars that participated in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The car weighs only 1,280 kg, and, according to the manufacturer’s assurances, the aerodynamics has been improved. In the meantime, the four active aerodynamic flaps are optimized so that the Huayra Codalunga sticks to the road well, even at high speeds.

At Pagani Automobili they say they have tried to take more than just an addition to this model. So even though it’s taller, the overall design is fairly simple. As they say in the company, this was difficult to do. Codalunga is more streamlined and should be more elegant.

The colors of the finishes and varnishes are also inspired by the design trends of the 1960s. While the cockpit retains the exposed carbon-fibre trim, the woven and leather-covered suede interior was chosen with classic style in mind. Exterior paint colors are either matt or semi-matt to emphasize the car’s straight lines.

Pagani Huayra Codalunga has a cost of 7 million euros and only five units will be produced. They all already have an owner. However, if you are rich, you can order from Pagani something special for yourself. Perhaps he will fulfill your request.
