The draw for the third round of the Saxony Cup took place on Tuesday afternoon. Chemie Leipzig is a guest at Fortuna Chemnitz, while Lok has to go to Budissa Bautzen. SSV Markranstädt receives FC Eilenburg as well. FC International, which has to deal with FSV Zwickau, had Lospech.
Leipzig. With Budissa Bautzen, Lok Leipzig captured the toughest domestic league teams in the third round of the Saxon Football Cup. For FC Eilenburg, it won’t be easy for Sachsenligist SSV Markranstädt either. Chemie Leipzig picked up a relatively easy opponent. BSG goes to Division VII VfB Fortuna Chemnitz, who currently leads the middle class.
Oberligist Inter Leipzig welcomes the only third-tier club FSV Zwickau from Saxon to join this tour. And SV Liebertwolkwitz could hopefully look forward to an attractive opponent. Randleipzig will play against the regional league team and several Saxon Chemnitzer FC Cup winners, if it confirms itself in a catch-up match against FC Grimma. Scheduled matches are October 9 and 10.
