Explanation of the end of sweet tooth
During the first eight episodes of Sweet Tooth, Gus and Gibberd venture across the United States with the goal of finding the boy’s mother., known as Birdie, had its last location in Colorado.
While they failed to find it, it was revealed in Episode VII Gus’ mother was already a scientist and that it was created as part of an experiment. It further explains that its name is an abbreviation of Genetic Unit Series 1, and the number suggests that it was only the first modified hybrid. The revelation caused Gus to flee from the big man.
Later, they meet near a crashed plane at the end of Chapter Eight. Here we see Gus reconsidering his existence, but the big guy assures him that everything will be fine and that he will do everything in his power to help him.
This chapter also explores Gibberd’s past, with flashbacks that show him taking his pregnant wife to the hospital, as the outbreak worsens. When your baby is born, your worst fear comes true: It’s a hybrid. He leaves the hospital, but when he returns to the maternity ward, his wife and son disappear.
Meanwhile, we see Amy’s efforts to rescue a group of hybrid kids, including Wendy, who are being hunted by General Abbott who wants to experiment on them. Although they managed to escape for some time, they were caught. Those who run with the same luck are Jepperd and Gus.
The boy is interrogated by Aditya Singh, who is infatuated with him, so he asks for another test subject, as he does not want to harm him.
The first season of Sweet Dental ends when Aimee finds a big guy, loads him into her truck, and takes him to safety, all the while promising to help him get the kids and Gus back once he’s healed.
Will the end of Chapter 8 make way for Season 2 of Sweet Tooth?
Yes, before the last semester credits appear, There is a scene showing a research station in Alaska where the phone can be heard ringing. One person picks up and it turns out to be Byrdie, Gus’s mother/creator.
The caller is Bear, and he’s equally surprised that someone responded. Before the conversation could go any further, the moment was over. Everything indicates that Birdie will be a key piece for a futuristic second plot.
