“There will be no panic or tears today,” Olena Zhelenskaya, the wife of the Ukrainian president, wrote on Instagram.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zhelensky has repeatedly stated in his speeches that he and his family do not want to leave Kiev. Gelensky’s wife, Olan, also returned to the country with words of support on the day of the occupation by Russian troops.
“My dear people! Ukrainians! I see all of you today. I see everyone I see on TV, on the streets, on the Internet. I look at your posts and videos. Guess what? You’re amazing!”
He said he was proud of his comrades:
“I’m proud to live in the same country with you! Many say the crowd. This is not about us. Because many Ukrainians are not the crowd. This is the military!”
“There will be no panic or tears today. I will be calm and confident. My children will see me. I will be by their side. I will be next to my husband. With you.
I love you! I love Ukraine! ”- she finished.
Olena and Volodymyr Zhelensky have been married since 2003, and they have a daughter and a son.
