In order to develop its first full temporal – after maintaining the tradition of Dacquoise’s bullfighting since taking office during the health crisis, in 2020 – the bullfighting commission relied on the fundamentals that made Dax’s bullring glory. It is the reference to the bullfighters in Paseo and the guarantee of breeding in Toriel.
This has been brought up and looked at closely, as posters were sewn for the five Dax feria bullfights, from Thursday 11 August to Monday 15 August, and then the Toros y Salsa races, 9-11 September, revealed the number of daring.
1 Season muscles
No one will escape, from five bullfights in 2021, the Dax Arena season back to seven.or the various meetings presented by the Earth Commission and the Boletero Club.
Going back to their usual dates, the daquis calendar nevertheless makes use of 2022 to put an end to the morning bullfight, introduced in 2013, and the bullfighting show from the afternoon of the first day of the holidays, Paseo ahead at 5 p.m.
Inspired by the previous commission, the fashion for one-handed bullfighting by bullfighting is back, with the unprecedented character of this challenge posed by Daniel Lucé to six bulls from La Quinta, on Saturday 13 August.
2 famous stars
With ten of the top twelve bullfighters in the 2021 Escalaphone, out of the 17 invited to the Dax bullfight between August and September, the bullfighting commission was able to bring together the “all-stars,” as Eric Darrier had hoped.
The leader in this ranking in last year’s bullfighting issue, Morante de la Puebla is one of two bullfighters to be programmed twice at Dax, along with Daniel Luque. If it’s fair, echoing their recent victories here, they will find themselves head-to-head during their second decade, at the end of the season.
As their aura remains certain with the general public, Jose Maria Manzanares and El Julie will return to the Sands of Dax, after four and five years of absence. This popularity is also worthy of the return of Antonio Ferreira, after leaving a last trace during Toros y Salsa 2017, to Agur bullfighting.
3 Believe in Grandma
For these stars, the Dax Bullfighting Authority wanted to engage the budding bullfighters. Introducing new people who aspire to compete at the highest level.
Thus, four of them will fight bulls for the first time in the arenas of the spa town: Sergio Serrano, Alejandro Marros and Thomas Ruffo. Even Mexican Isaac Fonseca will take the replacement in a prestigious cartel. Let’s add Juan Ortega’s second look, which went somewhat unnoticed in 2019.
This novelty will also materialize during the 2022 season at the Dax Yards by introducing two strains, on Monday, August 15. At 6pm, Canadero will fight El Parralejo for the first time in France with a group of 4-year-old bulls. It will be the same, at 11 am, for Jean-Marie Raymond, with his new novels De Virgen Maria.
4 The art of association
It is not enough to hire beavers and bullfighters. You still have to figure out how to combine them. Faced with the legendary emblem of Miura, the daquis preferred men experienced in this type of cattle.
The Six Other Cartels combine a big star, a budding bullfighter, and a young inspiration. And so, Thomas Ruffo, ready to tie El Juli and Emilio de Justo on Saturday 10 September.
