Both players are well known to the general public in Poland and their presentation doesn’t make much sense.

As a journalist, it is worth noting that Materla is the winner of the KSW Championship and the former champion of this organization in the Intermediate Division. The Szczecin native has only 26 fights in KSW. Pudzianowski was a star in the tough guy competition, but he’s also a recognized MMA fighter. He has played mixed martial arts since 2009 and has a four-game winning streak.
There is a gap between them when it comes to weight categories. Materella competed almost his entire career in the middle division (up to 84 kg). Pudzianowski is a star of the heavy KSW category, whose limit is more than 120 kilograms. This is one of the reasons why rankings stir emotions online. The idea for this engagement – according to Podzyanovsky – was born in the network.

– One of the owners of KSW, Martin Lewandowski, called me up with an idea, saying that on the Internet, fans are proposing a juxtaposition of two Bodzian legends versus Materla. I did not hesitate for long, after all, the world belongs to the brave – says Pudzianowski.

According to the former strongman, the above-mentioned kilograms may be the main factor in the course of the fencing. You can guess that on the day of the fight, the Materla will weigh much more than the limit of its class (up to about 100 kg), but will still be several kilograms lighter than its competitor.

– I’m not afraid of challenges. What I can say about Michai is the fact that he has a lot of experience and a tough personality. In this fight, the difference in kilograms will be decisive, and Michai must know that he can bounce off me as if off the wall – “Pudzian” says.
