George and Amal Clooney left their bags in Brignol

It’s official. George and Amal Clooney have certainly left their bags in the Var town of Brignol. The couple acquired Domaine du Canadel, a 170-hectare wine estate.

Their installation was formalized by the mayor of the city on social networks, Didier Bremond. The latter shared a photo of the couple and himself, explaining that he was happy to welcome them.

“Now officially, George and Amal Clooney are residents of our beautiful town. It was a pleasure to meet them, at their invitation, at the Domaine du Canadel, where they will soon be packing their bags,” the city councilman wrote on their Facebook account.

Already owning a house on the shores of Lake Como, in Italy, and an English mansion an hour from London, Clooney has set their sights on this 170-hectare estate, the Canadel Domain, in Brignoles. A purchase that above all allows them to easily visit Brad Pitt, since their residence is located a few kilometers from the Palais de Maraval, owned by the actor and his ex-partner Angelina Jolie.

For this luxury property, George Clooney would have spent “an amount of nearly eight million euros,” as Far Maten detailed at the time.
