Hubert Hurkacz, ranked 12th, came in the third quarter. His opponent in the first round would be a tennis player from elimination or the ‘lucky loser:’ in the playoffs. The Wroclaw player found himself in the part of the arc where the Norwegian Kasper Ruud and the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas were placed.
The second pole, Kamel Majscherzak, found himself in the second quarter of the tournament. His opponent in the first round will be American Brandon Nakashima. Piotrkowianin just played for the US representative in Rome, where he lost in the crucial qualifying stage.
The ATP ranking leader, Novak Djokovic, was the top seed in Paris. The Serbian will defend the title. Already in the quarter-finals he can meet the meal of the king of bricks, Spaniard Rafael Nadal. Germany’s Alexander Zverev will be the first in the second quarter, and his quarter-final opponent may be Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz.
