Britney Spears, 39, is allowed to drive again. What seems banal is a huge success for the singer. For years, she has been battling the guardianship of her 69-year-old father, Jamie Spears. The pop singer is currently fighting in court to have him removed as her legal guardian so she can finally make her own decisions again after 13 years.

Britney does not appear – until guardianship ends
Britney Spears recently announced that she will not be taking on a new role until she is no longer under the tutelage of her father. This is also because for ages she has been trying in vain to let her sing new songs on stage.
She writes on Instagram: “I’ve been playing remixes of songs for years while begging to play my new music on my fan show…that’s why I’m quitting! With the process gaining more attention, Britney Spears was more confident that the guardianship could come to an end soon.”
